Amazon Canada Gift Ideas for Baby & Toddler

Everybody loves Amazon but here in Canada, I feel we’re at a bit of a disadvantage. US Amazon is just waaaay better, there’s no sugarcoated way to put it. Any time I see an Amazon item on social media I want, I typically know it’s either not going to be available on Amazon Canada OR the price is going to be so jacked up with import fees it’s not even worth it. That said, I’m always on the hunt for Amazon finds for my fellow Canadians and holiday shopping is no exception.

This is the first Christmas for us where I feel like my eldest son is starting to understand the concept of Santa and all things Christmas and the excitement has begun! Last Christmas he enjoyed opening gifts but had absolutely no idea what was happening and he hadn’t really started showing a strong interest towards any type of toys which made shopping for him pretty difficult.

This year I feel like I had no issues coming up with ideas that would keep him occupied through the bitter winter months here in Ontario. For context, we have a small home so as much as I’d love to get him something like those wooden Pikler climbing sets, we just don’t have the space. I needed small, affordable, easily stored, as well as developmentally appropriate ideas for both him and my 6 month old baby.
